Die Falcon-Lenkwaffe wurde auf 200 m mit fünf 35mm AHEAD-Geschossen beschossen, was einen eindeutigen Overkill bedeutet.

Fast alle Subprojektile (3.3g) haben die Struktur des Huey-Helikopters vollständig durchschlagen; d.h. die Rückseite des Zieles wies fast so viel Löcher auf (Exit Holes) wie die Vorderseite.
Almost all sub-projectiles (3.3g) completely penetrated the structure of the Huey helicopter; i.e. the rear of the target had almost as many holes (exit holes) as the front.
Im Ukraine-Krieg: Der Flabpanzer 35mm Gepard zerstört Drohnen (Typ Shahed 136) mit circa 88 Schuss FAPDS 35mm-Munition. Kosten pro Stück: 250 Euro; d.h. die Munitionskosten für den Abschuss belaufen sich auf 22'000 Euro.
In the Ukraine war: The AA-Tank 35mm Gepard destroys drones (type Shahed 136) with about 88 rounds of FAPDS 35mm ammunition. Cost per round: 250 euros; i.e. the ammunition costs for the kill amount to 22,000 euros.
Bemerkung: Ein aheadisiertes 35mm-System braucht in diesem Fall maximal 4 bis 8 Schuss AHEAD Munition 35mm à 1000 EUR/Stück; d.h der erfolgreiche Abschuss kostet nicht mehr als 8'000 Euro. Dank der Selbstzerlegungsfunktion der AHEAD-Munition werden die kollateralen Schäden von der Munition minimal. Die FAPDS-Munition hat eben keine Selbstzerlegungsfunktion.
Note: In this case, an AHEAD-upgraded 35mm system needs a maximum of 4 to 8 rounds of ABM AHEAD 35mm ammunition at 1000 EUR/piece; i.e. the successful launch costs no more than 8,000 euros. Thanks to the self-destruct function of the AHEAD ammunition, collateral damage from the ammunition is minimised. FAPDS ammunition does not have a self-destruct function.
